Pawan vents ire at Jagan's rule

Vijayawada: The six achievements (focus areas) of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's six- months rule so far have been - revenge, uncertainty, demolition, mental harassment, undue speed and damage, said Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan on Saturday.

He released a note on the failures of Jagan Mohan Reddy's rule during the last six months.

Pawan pointed out that Jagan started his administration with destruction. Intentionally, Jagan played political games with floodwater and created sand scarcity. Several lakhs of building workers suffered due to sand scarcity and livelihood problem.

The whole administration was totally reversed by cancelling the contracts and tenders. The Polavaram project works were halted for the last several months. The Ambassador of Japan has expressed displeasure on power purchase agreements issue by writing a letter.

Singapore government, too, left from Amaravati capital project. The State should face international arbitration, he said.

The government was creating unrest in the society with its revenge attitude. The incidents like harassment of Jana Sena activists from Srikakulam to filing police cases against Jana Sena MLA Rapaka Varaprasad and former Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad's suicide, damage of trees and plantations in Rayalaseema districts, suppressing the journalists and their rights and assaults on people in Durgi mandal in Guntur district are examples of the revenge attitude of YS Jagan's government, he explained.

Pawan also said that the State government announced five lakh village volunteers' posts but it had filled only 2.89 lakh posts. While 35 lakh building workers suffered due to sand policy of the State government, 25 lakh workers shifted to various locations.

Now 1.56 lakh contract workers are in a dilemma whether their services would be continued or not as per the State government's policy, he lamented.

Pawan said the State was facing a financial crisis while the investments in Amaravati were hanging on balance due to the attitude of the government.

The government forced the investors to leave AP while there is no clarity on the Centre's financial assistance, Jana Sena Chief said. He said that the government also initiated the demolition of the language and culture also.
