Perni Nani lashes Naidu over Punganur riots, counters Chiranjeevi on remarks
Former minister Nani has launched a scathing attack on TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu. Nani accused Chandrababu of being involved in the Punganur incident and engaging in rowdyism and violence. Nani further criticized Chandrababu for his alleged involvement in the riots and conspiracy to harm the police.
Nani also accused Chandrababu of attempting to create unrest and chaos in the state and claimed that a recce was conducted and riots were organised in Punganur. He expressed his disappointment with the media bias and highlighted the injuries sustained by police officers during the incident.
Taking a dig at Chandrababu 's 40 years of experience claim, Nani criticized Chandrababu for making promises to bring water to Rayalaseema and questioned why he did not fulfill these promises during his tenure.
Nani also responded to comments made by Chiranjeevi. Stating that he is personally a fan of the actor, Nani mentioned that politics and the film industry should be seen separately and questioned why controversies were created unnecessarily around political leaders. He questioned why the films are having scenes that insulted the political leaders.
Nani also questioned why Chiranjeevi did not speak up about the injustice to the state when he was a Union Minister and highlighted the importance of unity and countering attacks in politics.
