Plant one sapling each, students told B Srinivas

Eluru: Every person need to plant at least one sapling to save environment, said YSRCP city unit president B Srinivas. He participated as chief guest to the awareness programme on protection of environment, tree plantation and their uses for students of Bhashyam School here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that every person should plant one sapling to make state green. As the students are future citizens they should be taught properly on necessity for environment protection and need for green belt. Involving students in planting saplings would help them understand the necessity of trees in protecting our environment.

The teachers should encourage children plant saplings and explain how it helps in survival of mankind. The school principal, G Koteswara Rao, teachers, students and others were present.
