PM Modi appreciates Spandana of Jagan

Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed interest in Spandana programme introduced by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and asked details of the programme.

The Prime Minister visited the state stall during the exhibition held at Vadodara on the occasion of Ekta Diwas and visited the State Stall at the Police Technical Exhibition on Thursday, informed the offices of Chief Minister and DGP here in two press releases, here.

G Pala Raju, IPS headed the team from the state and briefed the Prime Minister about the technology being used in the State and said about Spandana and weekly off to the police.

The Prime Minister was asked to give a note on the Spandana and weekly off which was given and the weekly off App was downloaded and was shown to him.

He appreciated the Spandana programme when told how the petitions are received and disposed of giving a receipt and deadline.

Spandana has been a programme started by Chief Minister where complaints would be received by officials every week and a receipt would be given that the grievance was received and date would be given as to when it will be addressed.

The four-member Police team comprises G Pala Raju, DIG Technical Services, his deputy Rakesh Babu AIG, Mahesh DSP and Ravi Kumar Inspector.
