Police arrested a 5 member gang for circulating fake currency

Kadapa: Police arrested a five-member gang including two foreigners allegedly responsible for supplying fake currency, and Ganja at Sidha Priya lodge in 1 town police limits and recovered RS 7.28lakh worth fake currency notes, 4kgs weighed Ganja, 3 Laptop computers, one colour printer, 7 mobile phones RS 9,600 original Indian currency notes from them on Saturday.

The accused were identified as C.Sai Krishna Bhagyanagar colony of Kadapa city, P. Dasu Babu Simili guda village Hukumpet mandal, K. Jagannath peddapadu village of Dumbriguda mandal Visakhapatnam district, MBI Adolf Ashu, Ako Borson Know Cameroon country (the duo presently residing at Kasturi Nagar Bangalore).

Addressing press conference here on Saturday District Superintendent of Police KVVN said he had received a complaint from through WhatsApp from one Abdul Karim of Kerala state during Spandana grievances day that he was cheated by Adalf Ashu, Ako Borson, Sai Krishna as they collected money through internet for supplying costly Wigs, and medical products at cheaper rates. After his efforts ended in vain in securing the material, noticed the duo were presently staying in Kadapa city.

SP said that following tip of Chinnamandem Chouk SI Ashok Reddy conducted raids on the Sidha Priya lodge arrested the accused while indulging in the crime.

The SP urged the people to inform the police whenever they noticed new persons wandering under suspicious circumstances. The SP appreciated the cops of their initiative in arresting the culprits. Kadapa city DSP U. Suryanarayana, CCS SI L. Jeevan Reddy, Pendlimarri SI RV. Konda Reddy and others were present.
