Police caught Rs 2 crore in cement lorry at Vijayawada

Amaravati: The police have caught Rs 2 crore in a cement lorry near Enikepadu at Vijayawada in Krishna district.

As part of the regular vehicles checking the police have stopped the cement lorry, on the suspicious over driver's behavior, the police have removed the cement bags.

Later they were astonished to see Rs 2000, Rs 500 currency notes in between the cement bags. After calculating the cash, it was a total of Rs 2 crore.

It's said that the cash is been transported from Kanchikacherla to Eluru. The police have seized the cash, took the driver into the custody and shifted the lorry to Patamata police station.

The police have registered that case and investigating further.
