Police extend Sec. 144 in Vijayawada up to April 14 over Coronavirus threat
The Authorities in Vijayawada have become alarmed after a coronavirus infected case reported in the city. Andhra Pradesh DGP Gautam Sawang appealed to the people to support for coronavirus prevention. "Those who come from abroad will have the most Coronavirus symptoms and they have to comply with the rules and instructions given by the government." DGP asserted. He urged the People from abroad to be cautious and warned of serious action against those who act as a threat to public health.
DGP has made it clear that legal action will be taken against those who do not follow the instructions. With the first corona case registered in Vijayawada, the commissioner of police Dwaraka Tirumala Rao enforced the Section 144, which would continue till April 14.
The CP has said that the family members whose wards are undergoing quarantine need to be tested as it may spread. "We have to take care of ourselves voluntarily and need to dial Corona Control Room Number 7995244260 in case of severity, " CP asserted.
