In the wake of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to Secretariat on Tuesday, the police have set up high security at Mandadam village on Tuesday. The police have deployed huge forces as the Amaravati farmers are protesting at capital villages against the proposal of three capitals.

The police refused to allow the agitation of the farmers at the new camp for the next two days as the chief minister Jagan would be visiting the Secretariat. The farmers are advised to hold their protests at the old camp.

Former MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar of West Godavari district who had called for a rally in Amaravati has been placed under house arrest by police. According to police, he was blocked at his house as a precautionary measure, which gripped a slight tension. However, Chintamaneni fled from the spot to make his Chalo Amaravati successful.
