Police hold rally against women trafficking: Deputy SP Mousam Bhasha

Deputy Superintendent of Police Basha along with other police officers participating in a rally conducted against women trafficking in Amalapuram on Tuesday.

Amalapuram: Deputy Superintendent of Police Mousam Bhasha has said that everyone in society should condemn women trafficking. Participating in a rally conducted against women trafficking from Black Bridge to Clock Tower here on Tuesday, he said the government was very much particular in combating the problem and punish the persons involved in women trafficking.

The police are giving importance for friendly policing and at the same time deal with iron hand with women traffickers and punish them severely. The department is also planning to organise awareness programmes in this regard and underlined the need of non-governmental organizations' participation in this regard.

He briefed about the police action against the trafficking and said the police are ready to come to the rescue of the victims at any time. Rural and urban police inspectors Bhimaraju, Suresh, auto and cab drivers and many others participated in the rally.
