Police seize 40 quintals of PDS rice

Giddalur: The Prakasam district police seize a lorry, which is transporting 40 quintals of rice, on Friday morning.

The police received information about the transport of the PDS rice to Porumamilla and intercepted it near Edamakallu village of Komarole mandal around 10.00 AM. The driver confessed said to be confessed that he is transporting the rice for while in the same route. The police shifted the lorry and driver to Komarole police station, but confirmation is awaited from the department.
