Prakasam Fencing Association gets new body in Ongole

Ongole: The president of Andhra Pradesh State Fencing Association V Nageswara Rao announced that the new executive body for the Prakasam district association was unanimously elected on Friday.

Nageswara Rao said that the election was held in the office at the Ghosha Hospital Municipal complex in Ongole and the association members elected Balisetty Nageswara Rao as president, K Siva Sankara Rao as vice president, G Naveen as secretary, V Nageswara Rao as joint secretary, B Hari Prasad as Treasurer, S Murali and K Ramu as the executive committee members unanimously as per the 2011 sports code.

He announced that the District Chief Coach from sports authority of AP B Srinivas, district Olympic association secretary Kurra Bhaskara Rao, state fencing association observer DS Christopher also present during the election while Damavarapu Praveen Kumar acted as the election returning officer. The officials and members congratulated the new body and wished them to bring more fame and name to the game in the district.
