Prakasam police go hi-tech for CM security

Markapuram: The Prakasam police have provided full protection to the chief minister during his visit to the Veligonda project by optimum use of technology, on Thursday.

District SP Siddharth Kaushal ensured the tight security by setting up a close net surveillance and made sure no mishap happened during the chief minister's tour. On the instructions of the SP, the command control room was set up at Veligonda project area in a night by the Special Branch-II CI N Srikanth Babu and his team. The CC cameras are installed at every nook and corner of the area and VVIP movement ways, to provide 100 percent security setup in a remote and hilly area where network availability is almost zero.

The Prakasam police used high-end technology and best IT solutions to establish on spot command control room and every movement of the chief minister is monitored from there. The senior police officials and Guntur range IG Vineet Brizlal observed the entire program through live streaming on their mobile phones. SP Siddharth Kaushal appreciated CI Srikanth and his team for proving the mettle of Prakasam police once again in the VVIP security arrangements on Thursday.
