Prasad wins 4 medals in swimming championship

Vijayawada: APSRTC employee and swimmer GV Prasad won medals at the state-level swimming championship, organised by Srikakulam Masters Swimming Association held on September 15.

Prasad won four medals in the championship and was honored by the APSRTC Managing Director N V Surendrababu in his chamber on Saturday. Surendra Babu said that there were many talented people in the organisation.

GV Prasad was discharging his duties as Deputy Superintendent in head office, executive director (operations). He participated in 55-56 years category and won silver medals in 100 meters and 50 meters breast stroke, bronze medal in 200 meters free style and individual medley. The overall championship was won by Krishna district at the state level championship.
