Prepare Detailed Project Report to develop Kondaveedu Fort: Guntur MLA Vidadala Rajini

Guntur: MLA Vidadala Rajini on Thursday stressed on the need to develop the historical Kondaveedu Fort. There was an urgent need to renovate it and it should not be neglected, she added.

She convened a meeting with district forest officer N Ramachandra Rao at her office in Chilakaluripet. She said that the State government was committed for the development of Kondaveedu Fort and reminded that the late Chief minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy set the foundation stone for the development of Kondaveedu Fort and works would be completed soon.

She directed the officials to prepare detailed project report to develop the fort within 10 days. She said she will meet Collector in this connection on February 18.

She said that based on the Detailed Project Report, the State government will allot funds for the renovation and development.

The YSRCP government wants to develop heritage sites, she added.
