Rajamahendravaram: Jagadguru Sankhara Charya Puri Govardhan Peetham Pontiff Nichalananda Saraswathi Maharaj has underlined the need to preserve our ancient traditions and culture.
On the request of Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) chairman KVV Satyanarayana Raju, he participated in the question and answer programme on GIET premises here on Friday.
"The students are showing interest on the latest courses to get jobs but at the same time, the students should know about our traditions and culture through the holy Peethams to escalate themselves in society with high values," he said.
