President Ram Nath Kovind visits Sri Padmavati temple in Tiruchanur, heads to Tirumala
President of India Ram Nath Kovind and his wife visited Sri Padmavati Ammavaru in Thiruchanur on Tuesday. The President was accompanied by State Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan who were welcomed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Chairman YV Subba Reddy, JEO Basant Kumar, advisors Srinivasa Charya and a group of priests. After the visit, the chairman presented them with cloth and Tirtha Prasadam.
Chittoor district collector Bharat Narayana Gupta, Intelligence IG Shashidhar Reddy, TTD CVS Gopinath Getty, Tirupati Urban SP Ramesh Reddy, Additional CVSO Sivakumar Reddy, VGO Manohar, Deputy EO Jhansi Rani and others were present on the occasion. The President will visit Thirumala shortly and later will reach Renigunta at 4.50 pm and from there proceed to Ahmedabad.
Earlier, President of India Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday morning at Renigunta Airport where he received a hearty welcome by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan. Later President and his wife will reach Thiruchanur by road from the airport and visited Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple.
