Prior permission needed for rallies: SP PHD Rama Krishna

Guntur: Urban SP PHD Ramakrishna said that they will clamp Section-30 of the Police Act for one month from Wednesday and issued orders to this effect.In a statement, he said that rallies, dharnas and protests should not be conducted without prior permission from the police.

He warned that he would take stern action, if anybody violates the rules. He further said that he should not tolerate, if anybody creates law and order problem. He recalled that they have already set up Closed Circuit Cameras at the important centres. He directed the sub-divisional police officers take steps to strictly implement the Section -30 of the Police Act.
