Prof M Jayaraj takes charge as VC of SKD University

Anantapur: Prof M Jayaraj, head of Economics department has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Sri Krishna Devaraya University by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh.

Prof Jayaraj took charge as Vice-Chancellor on Saturday in the presence of teaching and non-teaching staff. On the occasion, Jayaraj thanked the Chief Minister for appointing him as Vice-Chancellor.

He said that his top priority is for rendering quality education and research. He advised non-teaching staff to deliver better administration on a day to day basis. Registrar Mallikarjuna Reddy and Rector R R Venkatraju were present.
