Amaravati: Topics like law and order, progress of works in Amaravati capital city and privatisation of Visakhapatnam steel plant top the agenda in the Legislative Council debate on Monday.

In fact, the State government already made it clear that there was no proposal to shift the capital from Amaravati.

Nor it explained the progress so far made in the construction of the capital.

Meanwhile, the YSRCP members and the State government may raise the negative aspects in selecting Amaravati as capital city during the short duration discussion scheduled in the council.

They may also once again speak on the alleged shady deals during the previous regime.

Apart from it, the AP Disha Bill, Criminal Law (Andhra Pradesh Amendment) Bill, 2019 and AP Disha Bill, AP Special Courts for Specified Offences against Women and Children Bill, 2019 and others are to be introduced in the Council.

On the other hand, in the Assembly, the YSRCP will raise the issue on expenditure incurred by government for N Chandrababu Naidu's visits to Davos between 2014 and 2019 when he wasChief Minister.

It assumes significance the wake of government suspending an IRS officer Jasti Krishna Kishore, who was a key officer in organising the foreign tours.

The YSRCP MLAs, including Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, Gudivada Amarnath and others asked the government to reveal the expenditure incurred for Naidu's foreign visits.
