Putta Sudhakar Yadav resigns to TTD chairman post
Tirumala: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav who has refused to quit his post, has finally given the resignation on Wednesday. He has sent his resignation letter to TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal.
In 2019 general elections, the YSRCP has achieved the landslide victory and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has sworn-in as the new Chief Minister of the state.
After becoming as CM, YS Jagan has decided to cancel all the governing councils of various temples which were appointed by previous TDP government.
Earlier, Putta Sudhakar Yadav said he'll resign to the TTD chairman's post after he gets the orders from the government. Putta said he was appointed by the previous government to serve the Lord. He said it is the sentiment not to resign from the Lord's service.
Already many of TTD Governing Council members have resigned to their posts. Putta has another year tenure left as the TTD chairman. With the continuous pressure from the ruling party, finally today Putta Sudhakar Yadav has resigned to his post.
With the resignation of Putta, the YSRCP senior leader YV Subba Reddy will be taking charge as new TTD chairman on Saturday.
Recently, the AP government has issued orders of appointing YV Subba Reddy as the TTD chairman.
