Pydithalli Srimanu festival To Begin Today: Thousands of devotees to gather

Vizianagaram : The north Andhra famous, Gramadevata of Vizianagaram town Pydithalli sirimanu festival will be held today.

Around three lalu people from Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and even from Odisha, Westbengal, Chattishgarh would attend to see the eye feasting event.

At present The Sirimanu chariot is being carved at Hukumpeta area of Vizianagaram town and it would reach to temple premises by 2PM today and the procession would be organized between temple and fort Vizianagaram for three times.

The chief priest of the temple would sit on the top of the sirimanu and blessed the people of Vizianagaram on behalf of Pydithalli.

During this festival various local folk arts like Karrasamu, Tappidagullu, puliveshalu would be performed.
