Quiz for students organised by Canara Bank in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: A state-level quiz competition 'Canara Knowledge Champ-2019' was organised by Canara Bank here on Sunday. Students from various parts of the state participated in the competition.

The competition was inaugurated by Canara Bank General Manager DV Prasad Rao. Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that they organised this programme to bring out creative and competitive skills in the students.

He said that they have been organising these competition across the country in all the state. The students who excel in the state level quiz competition will be selected for the national quiz final competition which will be held in Bangalore.

He said that winners of the competition will be given prize money of Rs 50,000 to the first, Rs 30,000 to the second and Rs 20,000 to the third place. About 1200 students participated in the competition.
