Rajamahendravaram: 30 PHCs have coronavirus testing facility
Rajamahendravaram: District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said that more stringent measures should be taken to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the coming days. He inspected KIMS Covid-19 Hospital at Amalapuram on Thursday.
He enquired the officials on the services provided to the Coronavirus positive patients and additional arrangements in the Hospital. He informed that the Coronavirus tests were available at 30 Primary Health Centres (PHC) in the district. To increase public awareness on the spread of Coronavirus, a special drive will be conducted on Friday.
KIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Subbarao urged the Collector to set up the Dedicated Centre for pregnant women and children in the district.
Later the Collector inspected Nadu-Nedu works worth Rs 30.27 lakh at government high school, Bandaru Lanka Village in Amalapuram Rural. Trainee Collector Aparajita Singh Sinsinwar, RDO BH Bhavani Shankar, DSP Sheikh Masoom Bhasha and others were present.
