He called upon the intellectuals to ponder over how the state is adversely hit under the rule of “psycho” and “Tuglaq”

Participating in the debate on the resolution on the welfare of the poverty-stricken forward classes moved in the ongoing Mahanadu, Chandrababu Naidu felt that the revenue of Andhra Pradesh was once much higher than Telangana but now it has fallen so low. When the revenue of both the states was almost similar in 2019, after Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power due to his destructive rule there is such a huge difference in revenue of the two states, the TDP supremo stated. The revenue in Telangana is 40 per cent higher than Andhra Pradesh and this is because of the development of the state during the TDP rule, he noted.

Had all the projects, including Amaravati, been completed, Andhra Pradesh would have been flourished well, the he said and added that in 2019 the revenue through GST in Andhra Pradesh was Rs 24,957 crore while in Telangana it was Rs 18,779 crore. However, by 2022-23 the GST revenue in Andhra Pradesh was Rs 38,840 crore as against Rs 41,888 crore in Telangana. All this because there are no business activities in Andhra Pradesh, he felt.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the Madigas and Dudekula community in Andhra Pradesh have a separate demands. “From this platform I am assuring all the communities that justice will certainly be done to them as per their population ratio,” the he declared.
