Rajamahendravaram: Chandrababu slams Jagan over sand scarcity

Rajamahendravaram: TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu participated in a one-day deeksha to extend his support to building construction workers in the State who are starving due to lack of works because of sand scarcity.

Extending his support to TDP leaders who participated in deeksha in Dowleswaram and Bommuru of rural mandal here on Thursday, he said Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy miserably failed to supply sand to the people for five months.

He demanded that the State government combat sand mafia problem and prevent the suicides of workers of building construction sector. YSRCP government was diluting the welfare schemes introduced by TDP government and the Chief Minister shattered the dreams of the people in five months.

The TDP government had given sand freely to the people and now the sand is not available even for Rs 50,000 in the state. TDP will continue fight against government until the government supplies sand freely to the people. TDP leaders Y Dharma Raju, M Prasad, KP Choudary and others were present.
