Rajamahendravaram: CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to open Disha PS on Feb 7

Rajamahendravaram: District administration is making elaborate arrangements for the one-day visit of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy slated for February 7.

The Chief Minister will inaugurate first Disha police station in the state here and launch Disha app at a meeting in NTR convention centre on Adikavi Nannaya University campus.

He will also address police officers of 1,100 police stations through video conference from the convention centre. Police officers selected from 18 Disha police stations, Disha court staff and Disha One Stop centre personnel will participate in the video conference.

The government has appointed one deputy superintendent of police for each Disha police station. Urban superintendent of police Dr Shemushi Bajpayee, additional superintendent of police Latha Madhuri and other officials supervised the security arrangements.

Meanwhile, district collector D Muralidhar Reddy directed the officials to make fool-proof arrangements for the Chief Minister's visit.
