Rajamahendravaram: Essential commodities distributed to transgenders
Adikavi Nannaya University Registrar Dr B Ganga Rao distributing essential commodities to transgenders in Rajamahendravaram on Friday
Rajamahendravaram: Essential commodities were distributed to 150 transgenders at quarry centre under the aegis of National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) here on Friday.
Later, University registrar Prof Battu Ranga Rao said that NSS unit as part of its social service distributed the essential commodities.
The NSS unit of the University getting laurels for its social service activities. Our Constitution given right to everyone in the country to lead a respectable life and asked transgenders to avail it and be good.
He assured them that the University will extend necessary help to start any cottage industry. NSS coordinator Dr B Kejiya Rani was present.
