Rajamahendravaram: HUL donates 2 analysers to government hospital

Rajamahendravaram: In a touching gesture, Hindustan Unilever Limited donated two analysers worth Rs 7 lakh to Covid-19 wing of government headquarters hospital here on Wednesday. The company also donated Rs 5 lakh worth of stationery for six months such as 300 industrial blouses,15,000 sterilised blouses, 7,500 non-sterilised blouses, A4 size white papers- 40 bundles, 200 long notebooks and 50 other registers.

Handing over the material to the hospital superintendent Dr G Soma Sundara Rao, sub-collector Anupama Anjali said that providing medical equipment under corporate social responsibility was a good thing and congratulated company management in this regard.

Earlier, the company also donated haematology analysers for conducting blood tests. She appealed to the corporate companies to extend their help to the needy under corporate social responsibility though the government was putting its endeavour in this regard.

Company general manager R Sridhar, HR manager AVN Satish, staff GS Rao, K Anusha and others were present.
