Rajamahendravaram: MLA Gorantla demands jail for Jagan

Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary predicted that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would definitely go to jail for indulging in corruption.

Addressing the media here on Friday, he wondered why Jagan did not go to jail despite facing Rs 43,000 crore corruption charges when Bihar former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was jailed for his Rs 1.5 crore corruption charges.

He said that fearing imprisonment anytime, Jagan was reluctant to attend courts on the pretext of Chief Minister's duties.

"Law is equal to all and Jagan should attend the court and he would face jail again," he demanded.

He condemned the corruption charges against former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and alleged that YSRCP leaders had been spreading rumours against Chandrababu Naidu out of vengeance.
