Rajamahendravaram: Rich tributes paid to comedian Rajababu

Rajamahendravaram: Legendary comedian Rajababu was remembered in connection with his 37th death anniversary by his friends and family members. As part of it, his brother Babi garlanded his statue on Godavari bund and paid tributes on Friday.

Participating in the programme, Musini Babu Rao said that everyone should remember Rajababu's comedy which influenced Telugu cinema. There was no alternative to the great comedian on the Telugu screen and the people would never forget his action.

Rajababu was a trend-setter of comedy in Telugu cinema industry. He said that Rajababu acted in 550 movies and died in 1983. Musini Venkateswara Rao, Dr Bharathi, B Radaha, M Kiran, K Chandra Rao, M Srinivas and others were present. In those days, Rajababu's remuneration was on par with the leading heroes.
