Rajamahendravaram: State Govt keen to supply sand at people's doorstep

Rajamahendravaram: Sub-Collector Ravirala Mahesh Kumar has said that the State government was very much particular to supply sand at the doorstep of the people as per rules.

Addressing the members of Sand Supply Association at his office here on Wednesday, he said the sand should be supplied to online customers without any difficulty. Any lapses in supplying sand would be viewed seriously, he warned.

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is reviewing sand supply frequently and directed the officials to take action against the persons who does not deliver sand properly.

Necessary sand is available in the district and some new reaches are also coming up to cater to the needs of the people, he added.

The association representatives Rajeswari, P Srinu and others were present on the occasion.
