Rajamahendravaram: Swarnandhra Seva Samstha completes 100 days of service during lockdown
Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram has said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is striving for the wellbeing of the people and implementing many welfare schemes for them.
He participated in a meeting held at Swarnandhra Seva Samstha (SSS) old age home arranged as the non-governmental organisation completed 100 days of service to the hapless in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic.
Later, he said everyone in society should extend their help to the organisation which is rendering selfless service to the people for 25 years successfully and underlined the need to encourage organisations like SSA. The organisation served the needy by providing food and other facilities which is really a difficult task. SSA founder Dr Gubbala Rambabu is a glaring example for serving the needy in society and he is an inspiration to all, the MP said.
SSA founder Dr Gubbala Rambabu said it is an opportunity to serve the needy and continued 100 days service with the help of donors. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner was given to the inmates. The organisation came into existence 25 years ago with a noble cause to serve the needy in society, he said.
Later, the MP distributed essential commodities and a Rs 500 financial help to 75 families of satellite city. YSRCP leaders RSP Rao, BR Kumar, GM Rao, CP Reddy and others were present.
