Rajamahendravaram: Telugu Desam Party takes out Praja Chaitanya Yatra

Rajamahendravaram: Telugu Desam Party leaders YVG Rayudu and Vasu said that the YSRCP government was misleading people by making false promises during elections but failed in fulfilling them after coming to power, thus making a mockery of the mandate given by the people Participating in Praja Chaitanya Yatra in the 41st division here on Tuesday, they said implementation of the Chief Minister's Nava Ratnalu also came to a standstill.

In many places, the State government deleted the names of pensioners and also health cards and rice cards and others on the pretext of fake cards. The people are opposing the State government because of its anti-people policies and it failed to deliver the goods to people in the right time, they added.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was abolishing the welfare schemes launched by the TDP government to take revenge against former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, they said. The people are watching the government and ready to teach a lesson to it shortly. Large number of TDP leaders and workers participated in the yatra.
