Rajamahendravaram: Vundavalli advises CM jagan to get grip on administration
Rajamahendravaram: Former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar has advised Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to get a grip on administration and time set aside petty issues. The need of the hour is to get a grip on administration, he said here on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters at Anam Rotary Hall here, he said the Chief Minister should follow the footsteps of Nelson Mandela, if he took the great leader as role model. He demanded an enquiry on land purchases relating to distribution of house sites to the poor people. Many facts would come out if inquiry was ordered. How the government can pay Rs 45 lakh per acre, he questioned.
Making comments on judges is not correct, he said. Land and liquor policies should also be streamlined, he felt. All officers are not like former Chief Secretary L V Subramanyam and the Chief Minister should know that there was a strong lobby behind former intelligence chief A B Venkateswara Rao and former State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, he said. It seemed that the State government was not moving against corruption and underlined the need to combat corruption.
