Rajampet: AITS Rajampet students excel in technical symposiums

Rajampet: The students of Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Autonomous), Rajampet from the stream of EEE excelled in Technical Symposiums. C Chand Basha, the final year student of EEE bagged first prize and received cash prize for presenting a paper on "Band gap Devices" in ISHANA-2K20 in Phase-I, a Technical Symposium organised by KSRM College of Engineering, Kadapa.

V Siva Mohan Reddy, the third year student of EEE bagged first prize and received cash prize for presenting a paper on 'Smart Grid' in phase-II of the same event. In another technical symposium "Ample-2020" which was organised by SV College of Engineering, Tirupati, the second year student of EEE M Venkata Nikhil Kumar bagged second prize and received cash prize for presenting a paper on "Power Theft detection using IoT".

In the same event the students of second year EEE, M. Venkata Nikhil, M Shalini and B Sugana Veena bagged third prize for presenting a model on "Power Theft detection" using IoT". Choppa Gangi Reddy, founder of the college, Dr C Ramachandra Reddy, Chairman, Choppa Yella Reddy, Vice-Chairman, Abhishek Reddy, Executive Director, Dr SMV Narayana, Principal, Dr M Padma Lalitha, HOD of EEE department, the HODs of various departments and faculty members congratulated the students who won the prizes.
