Ramya Mandava bags 'Mrs AP 2020' title

Vijayawada: Vijayawada-born Ramya Mandava who is incidentally a Data Scientist (USA) has won 'Mrs AP 2020' title at the beauty pageant conducted by Satish Addala Creative Events here recently.

Addressing the media here on Wednesday, she said that creative arts have always had her heart since childhood and her passion in these fields has led to her success and winning the title.

Among the 185 contestants that attended the auditions from all over AP, 16 finalists got an opportunity to present their talents in the finals. She has shown an outstanding performance in all categories and was awarded the title by a panel of judges constituting prominent personalities from the fashion industry.

She grew up in Vijayawada and received primary and secondary education from NSM Public School and B Tech from MIC College of Technology, Kanchikacherla. She furthered continued her studies in the USA and graduated with double master's in technology project management and Data Science.

Currently working for an MNC based out of Pune as a Data Scientist, Ramya has been working from home in Vijayawada due to Covid-19 restrictions. She expressed her deep interest in being a part of entertainment industry.

Her parents MBR Prasad, Jasthi Asha Latha along with her brother Rajesh Mandava have given her tremendous support, adding to her success, she said.
