Ranganayakamma attends CID inquiry over fake news case in Guntur

The Crime Investigation Department has issued arrest notices to Ranganayakamma of Guntur district for allegedly posting false news on social media. However, Ranganayakamma's lawyer and family members attended the hearing at the CID office on Thursday.

Speaking to media, Ranganayakamma told the media that she sticks to what she had posted on social media over LG polymers had leak accident. "I feel I have not fine anything wrong, " she added. She has been served notices under Section 41 of the CrPC. Another person M Raghunath was also investigated by the criminal investigation department. Meanwhile, the incident has triggered a war of words between opposition TDP and YS Jagan-led government.
