Rathotsavam conducted among grand festivities in Tirumala

Tirupati: Gaiety and religious fervor marked Rathotsavam of Lord Venkatewara held on the penultimate day of Brahmotsavam in Tirumala on Monday.

Malayappa, the processional deity flanked by his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi was taken in a procession atop the tastefully decorated wooden chariot enthralling the devotees turned up in large number to witness the colourful Rathotsavam.

TTD made elaborate arrangements for the smooth and successful completion of Rathotsavam.

The nine day Brahmotsavam will come to an end with performance of Chakrasnanam on Tuesday.
