Renovated KLU admission dept opened in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: City Police Commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said that there are many opportunities these days in the academic field and the counselling centre at KL University in Vijayawada is one of the best sources for students and teachers to clarify their doubts regarding courses.
The Commissioner inaugurated the renovated admission department of KLU on Monday.
Addressing the media, Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said that Vijayawada is rapidly developing in all aspects after Amaravati declared the capital city.
As Vijayawada is an educational hub, in the recent past the population was also growing significantly in the city. He appreciated the management of KLU for acquiring NAAC A ++ and UGC category-1 rank.
He pointed out that academic institutions should take special care of student's discipline.
University vice-president Koneru Raja Harin said they are offering courses in engineering, management, arts and science with many specialities.
They are conducting an annual entrance examination for admission to engineering courses and announcing scholarships for merit students, he added.
Raja Harin and KLU vice-chancellor Dr LSS Reddy honoured the Police Commissioner with a shawl on the occasion.
