Vizianagaram : Former minister RVSK Rangarao has stated that the state government had claimed that it would bring crystal clear system in sand transportation, but so far no policy has been announced. Now the price of sand skyrocketed and it has badly affected the construction sector, he said.

On Monday, he spoke to media persons and alleged that the government has no clarity on any issue and it is totally in confusion and confusing the public too. ``Lakhs of workers lost their jobs in construction sector due to unavailability of sand. It seems that the government has no clarity on capital Amaravati and on Polavaram. Thousands of farmers had voluntarily gave their lands for Amaravati construction. But now the ministers are insulting the sacrifice of the farmers,'' Rangarao said.

He further stated that three districts are badly affected with rains and floods, but the government is concentrating only on demolition of the house of N Chandrababu Naidu. Reverse tendering system would affect the projects, it will delay and escalate project cost, he said. The TDP government had taken the decision to construct state capital in Amaravati for the welfare of people, he added.
