Resurvey of land to be completed in 3 phases in Kadapa says Amzath Basha

Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha has said that the government launched resurvey of lands to put an end to land disputes and tampering of records.

Launching YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhuhakku, Bhuraksha Pathakam at Kokkirayapalle village of Chennuru mandal on Tuesday, he said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy planned to adopt decentralisation procedure by doing registrations through village secretariats instead of registrar offices.

"This kind of system not only avoids tampering of registrations and land disputes between two parties but also helps to easily locate the disputed land in the villages with the knowledge of locals," he said.

Describing Jagananna Saswatha Bhuhakku- Bhuraksha as brainchild of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said due to utilisation of highly sophisticated technology for surveying the lands, disputes does not arise. MP Y S Avinash Reddy was present.

District Collector Ch Harikiran said the new land survey will be conducted in 3 phases as the borders of the land will be finalised through satellite. He said that borders of the district will be recognised in 5 areas like Pullampet, Galiveedu, Pulivendula, Peddamudium, Khajipet and survey borders will be finalised with 5 points.

He said the land survey will be organised 300 villages in each phase and entire procedure will be completed by January 2023. Kamalapuram MLA P Ravindranath Reddy, Sub-Collector Pridhvi Tej, District Survey and Land Records AD Prasad Rao and others were present.
