RS 10,937 crores for priority sector under potential link plan

Kadapa: The District level Review Committee (DLRC) of bankers chaired by district collector CH Harikiran which held on today has decided to provide Rs 10,937 crores loans to priority sectors under Potential Link Plan(PLP) for 2020 financial year in the district.

Apart from RS 7,626 crores were allocated to agriculture and it's related departments.

Speaking the occasion district collector CH. Harikiran has urged the bankers to feel more responsible in disbursing crop loans in time to the farmers as chief minister is giving top priority to the agriculture and its related departments like infrastructure facilities, Food& Agro Processing units, Micro Small and Enterprises, Investment Credit and working Capitals. He said total 7, 626 crores were allocated for the purpose. The collector said RS 6,200 crores loans that are 55. 96 per cent achieved against RS 11,078 crores by 30th September 2019 related to 2019-20 credit plan he directed them to complete remaining loans by ending of 2020 March.

Saying that government also Keen on extending financial support to the SC, ST, BC, Minorities under schemes like Vahana Mitra, Rythu Barosa, Nethanna Hastam, Ammavadi, etc as the bankers should not recover the outstandings by linking these schemes from the beneficiaries as they purely meant to individual benefits facilitate by the government. On this occasion, the collector has released a credit plan for 2020-21 financial year.JC-2 Siva Reddy, RBI lDO AM Khan, NABARD AGM G. Srinivasulu, LDM Anjayaneyulu and others were present.
