Rs 30 crore sanctioned for road works in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Union Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar has given nod for development of new and old roads in Rajamahendravaram Parliamentary constituency.

Speaking to 'The Hans India' here on Friday night, MP Bharat Ram said that he submitted a memorandum to the Union minister at New Delhi on Friday.

The roads were sanctioned under Grameena Sadak Yojana with allocation of Rs 30 crore. The roads include Rajanagaram, Anaparthi and Mandapeta measuring 76 kms. The Kovvur -Nidadavolu -Gopalapuram road in a length of 185 kms was also sanctioned.

The Minister further lauded the initiative of MP Bharat Ram relating to his constituency.
