Rs 36crores for Proddaturu govt.hospital. M P Avinash Reddy
Kadapa: The Proddaturu Government Hospital Development Committee meeting chaired by MLA R. Siva Prasad Reedy held on Wednesday has proposed to spent Rs 36 crores for providing infrastructure facilities and purchasing new instruments. The meeting also decided to extend the area of the hospital from 1.86 lakh square feet to 2.89lakh square feet in the interest of meeting patients rush.
Speaking occasion Kadapa Member of Parliament and hospital development committee member YS Avinash Reddy has said that despite funds were spent in a big way for the development of hospital but not enough to meet the requirement of patients. The M P analyzed that about 1000 outpatients attending and 100 inpatients joining every day in the hospital. In this connection, it will be necessary for constructing inpatient wards and additional buildings.
Proddaturu MLA and hospital development committee chairman R. Siva Prasad Reddy said that RO plant would be set up in the hospital in the interest supplying safe drinking water to the patients. He urged the doctors to show humanity towards the patients while discharging responsibilities as poor people approaching them with high expectations over curing their diseases.
District Collector CH. Harikiran directed the hospital Superintendent to conduct review meeting every week in the interest finding solutions for minor problems. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Lakshmi Prasad, DH&HO Dr.Umasundari, DCHS Dr Rameswarudu members Mallikarjuna Reddy, Lakshmi narayanamma, Siva Sankara Satya Narayana and others were present.
