Ongole: The Prakasam region APSRTC Employees Union issued a strike notice to the deputy CME on Tuesday, demanding that the management resolve discrepancies in digital duty charts and other pending issues.

The regional secretary Bezawada Ravi announced that the EU will go on strike on August 20 or any other day after August 20. Explaining the reasons behind the strike call, Ravi and other union leaders said that the management is allotting duties to the staff without considering the concerns and requests from the EU but showing favouritism to NMU and showing the employees on deputation as seniors to the regular employees in the region.
