RUDSETI offers experience and example-based training
Ongole: The tailoring trainees from the passing out batch at the Rural Development and Self Employment Training Institute (RUDSETI) in Ongole said that their institute offers experience and example-based training to the candidates.
The RUDSETI which was jointly established by the Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank, and Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Educational Trust will conduct the free training programme in its premises in Ongole and offers free boarding and lodging to the candidates.
The Andhra Pradesh Arya Vysya Corporation chairman Sidda Venkateswara Rao, BJP leader and MLA contested candidate Bodduluri Anjaneyulu participated in the valedictory programme of women tailors batch at RUDSETI on Sunday and presented the course completion certificates to the trainees.
The trainees shared their experiences in the training and compared their present confidence levels with that of the days joining before and said that they are the upgraded versions with self-confidence and boosted morale. Most of them said they joined the course with hopes of self-employment on recommendation of a friend or family member, but are graduating from it as a new person with a set of life skills which they could face any situation in life.
Sidda Venkateswara Rao announced that his efforts to establish a similar training centre in sculpture and woodturning at Agraham near Chimakurthy is about to complete soon. He congratulated the women for completing their course and said that the women should bring back the organic food habits into the family in the health aspect.
As the day was also Mother's Day, the institute celebrated it with the caretaker and cook couple Indiramma and Ramanaih. The institute director GS Murthy felicitated the couple and guests appreciated their services. Anjaneyulu said that the Indian culture puts mother ahead of father and teacher and awarded divine status to her.
He said that the caesarean deliveries are rapidly increasing in society and asked the women to accept it only if necessary. He said that serving as mother is like serving the god himself and asked them to teach their children good habits to make India rich in culture and dignity.
The guests planted a coconut sapling in the RUDSETI premises and appreciated the director Gudivada Suryanarayana Murthy, other teaching and training staff for their services to make RUDSETI as one of the best skill development centres in the region.
