Rythu Bazaars to be decentralized in Andhra Pradesh to meet people's needs

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a review on coronavirus prevention in the state on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani, Government Advisors Ajeya Kallam, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Chief Secretary to the Government Nilam Sawhney, DGP Gautam Sawang, Medical Health and Police Chiefs. CM Jagan held discussions with the officials on the steps taken to prevent corona outbreak in the state. Also, CM Jagan asked the officials about the implementation of the lockdown.

After the review, Alla Nani told the media that CM YS Jagan had ordered the decentralization of Rythu bazaars and urged to practice social distancing. He warned that there would be tough action if essential items were sold at higher prices. The minister advised the people to dial 1902 toll-free number to complain on the vendors who sell the essential commodities for high prices. People are urged to practice social distance. It is reported that the commodities and farmer's bazaars will be open from 6 am to 1 pm to avoid gatherings.

CM Jagan has reportedly said that the rythu bazaar should be decentralized to make the essentials be available to the public and suggested the people avoid gatherings.
