Sadhana High School students excel in Karate championship

Kakinada: The students of Sadhana High School proved their mettle and won prizes at the 4th Karate and Kung-Fu National Open Championship, said the school secretary and correspondent SV Madhava Rao here on Thursday.

He said that the school boys have won ten medals in various categories in the championship held at Anakapalli in Visakhapatnam district on September 15. He said that about 600 students participated in the championship from various states from across the country.

In the 16 years category, Shaik Khaja Moin, B Sathyankar and R Deviprasad won gold medals, V Sushmitha, NY Saikrishna, N Sharun Kumar won silver medals and N Chandini, A Hyandavi, Ch James and M Pujitaanjani won bronze medals.

He complimented the physical director for training the students in achieving the feat. The school management, teachers and others complimented the winning students on the occasion.
