Sanction leave for sick bus drivers, conductors: Civic chief Abishikt Kishore at Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) Commissioner Abishikt Kishore has asked the APSRTC officials to sanction leaves of absence immediately to the conductors and drivers who suffer from fever, cold and cough and other health related problems.

He inspected the APSRTC central bus station and depot here on Friday and asked the Regional Manager RVS Nageswara Rao to provide hand wash tubs in the complex to wash hands which is very important and a precautionary measure.

He also advised the regional manager to maintain cleanliness in the buses as well as in the complex premises.

Later, speaking to reporters, he said all the parks were closed in the city and many precautionary measures were taken in the city to avoid coronavirus. Meanwhile, the managements of shopping malls and other establishments were also directed to take precautionary measures.

So far, as many as 181 tourists who came to the city were examined and no positive cases were found, he added.
