Sand Mining Row: Former Minister Nara Lokesh questions Jagan govt over suicide of construction workers
TDP leader Nara Lokesh once again criticized AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is noteworthy that the TDP raised concerns over sand shortage across the state on Friday. To this occasion, the Twitter platform is flooded with tweets slamming YSRCP chief Jagan lack of sand.
Lokesh in his tweet alleged that YS Jagan is creating the hurdles to the construction workers by imposing a ban on the sand mining, he said that two workers were killed for the artificial sand dumping.
The TDP national secretary wrote that YCP is collecting J tax for the sand mining in Gunturand reminded of Brahmaji and Venkatrao's suicide in Guntur.
In another tweet, Lokesh questioned Who is responsible for the deceased family. How many people should sacrifice their lives to the negligence of your government?.
The former minister demanded the chief minister to resolve the shortage of sand issue otherwise the TDP would launch a protest in this regard.
On the other hand, Jana Sena also held protests at ministers houses in the morning in support of the construction workers who have lost the works due to shortage of sand in the state.
